Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album it was an attempt to return to the classic sextet format and a more consistent, stronger effort with a harder edge. The more edgy sound of the album was a reflection of the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased virtuosity on drums, and a more mature, confident vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams.
